Bill and I (Becky Hitt) had been hearing about the wonderful healings God was doing in nations with low economic conditions. So at the end of May, we traveled with Global Awakening to Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Belo is about 150 miles north of Rio de Janeiro.
It is a city of 2.5 million. We ministered in one Four Square Church, one Methodist, and three Baptist churches while there.

What occurred during those meeting was awesome, something that we had never experienced to this degree. Pains and medical conditions, some as old as 30
years disappeared. Many of the people did not know what their condition was as they could not afford to go to a doctor. Others had been to a doctor and had been told nothing could be 
done for their condition. Many had
prayed before coming to the meeting. Most came with high expectations (faith) that they would be healed. It seemed like everyone we touched was healed and it wasn't just us that was experiencing this. All fourteen team members were experiencing the same thing. God even used two people who had NEVER prayed for the sick. Many (including Bill) had the privilege of feeling tumors reduce in size and finally disappear as they had their hands on them. What a wonderful God we serve!!

During the Sunday morning service, we were the busiest. People were crowded around the ministry team members patiently waiting their turn for prayer.
There were so many and so little time before our bus was to leave. (On this particular day, we had not brought any cash with us to take a taxi back to the hotel if we missed our bus.) So we prayed the shortest prayers ever as time for departure neared. God still honored the prayers and continued to heal.

This same morning, a 35 year old woman approached us with her arm in a sling. She had her arm all bandaged from above her elbow to her fingertips. All we understood from our interpreter was that she was in tremendous pain and that her painkillers were not helping. So we prayed until all the pain was gone (4-5 minutes). Then we sent her up to give her testimony for the video tape. Later on the bus, our leader, Randy Clark, talked about a woman with a scar at her elbow and forearm wrapped in bandages. We looked at each other, then asked if we could see the video tape. We saw the woman for whom we had prayed.

The full story was that as a result of an accident three years earlier, she had lost the use of her arm. There was great pain in her shoulder if she tried to move it. The elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers were frozen. She said that she'd had twenty-three operations and twenty infections. The result was that the doctor said that she'd never use her arm again. Obviously, her doctor did not know about Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals!!!

As she was giving her testimony, it seemed as if she was being healed right on camera. As she said each thing that she couldn't do before, she started doing it! It wasn't long before she appeared to have full mobility of that arm, hand and fingers. Everyone around her was so excited they started to jump and scream. It was thrilling to see God perform this right on camera. God's love, mercy, healing, and grace were abundantly released on we who prayed and upon his children receiving prayer.

This series of healings occurred May 27-June 5, 2002, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. My wife, Becky, and I (Bill) traveled there with a healing team under Randy Clark, of Global Awakening. There were 14 members from each coast. Each of the team members report healings similar to the healings recited here. We normally spent time praying for others twice a day, getting back around 2-2:30am each morning and getting up to leave between 8-9 the next morning.

We prayed at 5 churches. Three were Baptist, one was Methodist, and one was a Foursquare church. About 100 people were prayed for. About 90% had symptoms of relief that we knew about right then. The person could tell us of pain and pressure gone and other things. The others needed to go back to the doctor for testing, etc.

The healing style of Randy Clark in Belo Horizonte was that he'd get words of knowledge about conditions that God wanted to heal. We, as team members also received such words. We normally only spoke out one or two conditions, because of time. You can imagine 15 people all speaking out some condition!

Randy then asked people to stand, who wanted the healing. He always wanted them to put their faith into action. Then, as they started feeling healing occurring, they would wave their hands. Some said later that they had felt electricity, heat, pain going, and other signs of the healing. When a sufficient number were waving their hands, Randy made a altar call.

Randy pointed to the people being healed and exhorted anyone who wanted to have a relationship with such a loving God, or who wanted to increase their relationship, to come down front. After the altar call, Randy would tell the rest who had not been healed by a word of knowledge to come down to team members for specific prayer. I would normally pray with from 20-40 people each night. Everyone received healing except for about 3 people. Even then, they were blessed spiritually and expressed great thanks for the blessing prayers.

I don't report every healing here for two reasons. The first and most important is that I was just so busy praying or sleeping. I didn't want to take the time out to write down all the healings. The second reason, was that we prayed with so many people, that after the second day, all the people tended to blur together!

At the start of the trip I prayed for the healings below, I prayed alone. Later, I prayed with my wife, doing a "tag-team" prayer. I would pray for deliverance and Becky would finish up with what I forgot to pray for and would bless them. Sometimes she would pray for deliverance and I would bless them.

5-28-02

1. Seven people had pains in the back, hips, necks at levels of 5-7. All went to zero pain, one needed the spirit of pain cast out.

2. A woman cursed by her brother felt pain in her stomach, lumps and a tightening in her neck. As I broke off the curses she went down under the Spirit and was still there when we left after 12 midnight.

3. A woman had a pain in her neck for several years and dry eyes. Her pain left and she cried and prayed. She said that she felt her eyes were no longer dry.

4. A woman had kidney stones. As I prayed against the pain, the balancing of her body's minerals and the kidneys to be healed. She felt the pain of the stones leave!

5. Three people had pain when they arrived and the pain was gone before I got to them!

6. A woman had high blood pressure, causing her to feel pain in her neck as her heart pumped blood. After praying the pain and feeling of high blood pressure was gone.

7. My interpreter received prayer as a blessing. He fell under the power of God and started speaking in tongues. He then seemed as if he was going through a deliverance. We prayed against any afflicting spirits and he seemed less agitated. He then started the Holy Spirit "jerks" as I left.

8. I prayed for a drug dealer who was clean for 54 days. He said he had a pain in his side and his bones hurt in his right side. I prayed and the pain left. I prayed against the spirit of addiction and generational curses and he said his bones stopped hurting.

5-29-02

9. A young man in a wheel chair said he had never been hugged by his father or loved. I hugged and kissed him as an earthly father and God the father. He was very touched and thanked me profusely. He even came to our Hotel, about 20 miles away, and then came to the airport to see us off! What a blessing to us!

10. I prayed with an older lady who had lost her mother seven months ago and felt lonely and lost. I came against spirits of loneliness, worry and concern and I prayed for the Father's blessings and love. She cried as she received the love and thanked me and God.

11. I prayed with a young man who had been in an accident. His jaw was mis-aligned and he was in pain. I prayed once and he said that his teeth felt like they were better aligned. I prayed again and he said that he could open and shut his jaw without pain.

12. I prayed for a man with a pain in his head for the last 3 months. He had not been able to work. I prayed against the spirit of pain and against the pain itself. He was about 45 years old. The pain left him and he was all smiles!

13. I prayed for a woman who had a headache for 20 years. Her grandmother and son had the same kind of headaches. I came against generational curses and spirits of pain, headaches, roving pain and curses. She looked up and smiled! She said the headache was gone! She gave thanks to Jesus.

14. I prayed for a woman who had a headache for 8 years., I came against the spirits of trauma, pain and headache. She said that the pain went down 30%. Thank you, Jesus.

15. I prayed for a woman who had a headache for 2 years. I came against spirits of pain and it went down 30%. I prayed against the spirits of pain and headache. She was set free.

16. I prayed with an 8 year old child who had an ear infection and pain. She closed her eyes and I prayed against the spirit of pain and sickness. Her eyes opened and she said that the pain went down 50%, I told her that Jesus didn't want her to have any pain and I prayed again. She was pain free and smiled and gave me a hug and said thank you Jesus.

17. A woman had a bad pain in her lower abdomen. I prayed against the pain and she said the pain was still there but about 20% better. I prayed against the spirits of pain and generational pain. She said that the pain was in her back. I put my hand on her back and prayed against the roving spirit of pain. The pain went to her head. I found out she was just recently converted to Christianity. She was 60 plus years. I had her renounce all worship of idols and other gods and the spirit of anti-Christ. I then prayed against the spirit of pain, roving pain, idolatry, anti-Christ and generational spirits and curses. She suddenly started jumping up and down, very violently. She knocked off her glasses and an earring. I commanded the spirits to go, She started screaming. She had terrible pain in her hands. After a few minutes I held her hands and started blessing her hands. After a few minutes she started calming down. She said all the pain in her stomach, back, head and hands was gone. I blessed her and she said thank you Jesus.

18. I prayed for a woman who had a headache for 8 months. Her son had it too. I came against generational spirits and curses and of pain,. She said she was dizzy from the Holy Spirit. Finally she said that her headache was gone and she sat down until she was able to walk again.

5-30-02

19. We prayed for a woman approximately 55, at the Bible school. She said that she had osteoporosis and pain in her shoulder of a 10 on a scale of 1-10. The Dr. said there was nothing that could be done. During the interview we found out that her father had dedicated her to Satan as a child. She was also seeing a doctor who was ministering to her through spiritism. Her husband had left her for another woman and she needed to forgive several people in her life. A word of knowledge told us that a male child had drowned. This turned out to be a 2 year old nephew. She felt guilt because of his death. She was supposed to be watching him when he drown.

We had her renounce her occult background. The Holy Spirit gave us words of knowledge as to what other spirits were involved. We had her forgive her husband and brother. We took authority over the various spirits. She would cough and need to spit up each time. When we were ready to pray for healing she said her pain was at zero. Praise God, He had already healed her!

At this time, I decided to fast after praying. Normally, the church we would pray at had food for us after pray. So, we would eat and talk for about an hour after finishing up praying for the people. I made this decision in the afternoon, before praying for people that night. I believe that it made a difference in the power of healing and deliverance for which God used me. Thank You Jesus!

20. A woman about 20 years of age wore glasses. She had come to me the night before for prayer for her eyes. She was myopic. I had prayed briefly and had to leave her. When I saw her this night I motioned for her to come over to me. She came over and I confirmed that she had kept her 10% healing of the night before. I had just heard teaching of Randy Clark about ministering angles and Pastor Tom Jones teaching of "declaring" that sickness and disease was gone. I called upon the Holy Spirit to bring correction to the eyes. I commanded the condition to be healed in the name of Jesus

I asked the ministering angels to come and correct the eyes. I declared that the eyes were perfect. I said that God did not make mistakes and did not create eyes to be myopic. As I was saying these things, she started shaking. Then she went down under the power of the Holy Spirit. She seemed peaceful. Then she started a little shaking. Then she started moving her body a little from side to side. Then she started kicking the floor hard and flailing her arms. This continued for over « hour. I had not commanded any demons out. I had not done any inner healing or forgiveness. But when she got up she left before I could question her. Later I saw her with her glasses off. She came over and said her eyes were perfect. She had been healed. She was almost floating and dancing over the floor. Thank You Jesus.

21. I was at the Methodist Church. I had a word of knowledge that there was a woman who was so physically hot, that she would like to take off her sweater or blouse right there. In my vision of the word of knowledge, she was between 40 and 50 and her hair was about shoulder length. When we started praying, a 48 year old woman with hair cut just above the shoulders came over. She had on a very light weight blouse but she was sweating profusely. She said that her skin was very warm. I commanded her body to cool down to normal. I commanded her brain to regulate her body temperature to normal. I declared that her body was cooled down to normal. As I prayed with her, her skin temperature went down. After about 15 minutes, she said that she was normal. She had felt over-heated for over 20 years. She told me she had cried out to Jesus the night before for relief. She didn't attend the Methodist church but had felt led to come here this night. She said that she was very excited to hear my word of knowledge, and she was a VERY happy person! Thank you Jesus!

5-31-02

22. I had a word of knowledge but could not give it because there was not enough time. It was that a woman had a "sore face." I couldn't imagine such a condition. I knew about parts of faces I had prayed for. But while praying for healing, a woman came up who had a "sore face."

She had no diagnosis from a doctor, only pain for the last 5 years. She was about 50 to 60 years old. She indicated that she had been to spiritualists and thought that she had been cursed. As I prayed, the pain diminished. As I came against the curses and spirits she began to smile, as she was pain free. Thank You Jesus.

6-1-02

23. A woman 94 yrs. old was dressed "to the teeth" She had extreme pain in her back and hips and she could not sit or bend without great 0pain. Her movement was very limited. As I prayed, God touched her. She lifted her hands to me and my wife Becky's faces. The translator said that she said that her pain was gone. Not only that, she bent over and touched her toes. Her joints, ligaments, muscles tendons had all been freed.

6-1-02

24. A woman, about 45 had been in an auto accident about three years ago. Her left arm was bandaged from the tips of her fingers to her elbow and strapped so her arm was stabilized. She was in great pain all the time and pills didn't help. Her shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers were frozen. The doctor said that she would never use her arm again. She had had 23 surgeries and there were no more things to do. In 20 of the surgeries she had infections that caused more problems. She was desperate and almost hopeless. Her mother had been healed of severe back pain by God the night before by prayer by me. Her mother had high hopes because of her healing. I prayed for God to heal in different ways. The pain went away. As she went to give testimony her arm became movable. As she talked she discovered that her arm, shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers were completely healed! Randy Clark said that this was one of the most amazing testimonies that he had witnessed! Everyone was jumping for joy, even a 55 yr old female Pastor holding the microphone, as she gave the testimony on camera!

6/3/02

24. I prayed with a 15-yr old girl who had nodules in the upper part of her right arm. The Doctor didn't know what caused them nor what to do for them. The Doctor had tried to remove one surgically, and decided not to take them all. He did not say why. As I started praying, the largest one started to get smaller. The girl turned around to tell her mother, but did not seem to be happy or smile. I had to tell her to thank Jesus and smile! There was resistance to the rest of the nodules getting smaller, and I got the word that there was unforgiveness and anger. I asked the interpreter to ask her quietly if she could discuss the matter with her mother present. She said "No" so I asked the mother to give us some privacy.

She said that she had had a big argument with her father and that he said to her that he wished that she was never born! After forgiveness and giving up all the bad feelings that she was carrying, I prayed again against the bumps. They went away about 90%.

I told her mother that I had to ask the daughter questions that she wouldn't feel comfortable speaking about in front of the mother, since children like to have the parents think that they are perfect. I also asked the mother not to ask the daughter what we spoke about, but that if the daughter wanted to speak about it, it was ok. The mother seemed to understand. The daughter was watching me speak with her mother. I went to the daughter and told her what I had told the mother, so she wouldn't think that I had violated her confidentiality.

Still she didn't seem happy or excited, so I figured that there was more inner-healing needed. But the time was getting short and Randy had asked me to pray for the hand of a man. The girl said that it felt like little knives working on her bumps. I asked her to sit down and stay in the church while the "knives" were working and to come to me before leaving. Unfortunately, she had to leave before I could get back for more inner healing to get rid of the last 10% of the bumps. Her mother was very happy, though.

6/3/02

25. I prayed, with my hands on the tops of their heads, for impartation of the Holy Spirit for 2 women at the same time. One, a woman of about 40, did not seem to be receiving. The second seemed to be receiving, so I started concentrating on her. She was moving her head a little. Then her head movements looked like they were evasive, trying to avoid the Holy Spirit. I said that God loved her. She started crying and sat down, bent over so that I could not see her face. I continued telling her of God's love and forgiveness. After about 5 minutes, I told her that she could become clean again, a new person. She started sobbing even more heavily.

I didn't know what was condemning her, but suspected it was sexual action. I asked her if she was ready to become a new person, and she shook her head yes. I asked her if she was ready to turn away from the people leading her in the wrong direction and she shook her head yes. I asked her if she was ready to find friends and listen to people who loved her and wanted her to do the right thing. She said yes. So, I asked her to stand up and repeat after me. She stood up and I saw that she was a beautiful young person. She later told me that she was fifteen. She repeated the prayer after me, and started smiling. She hugged me and started beaming. Her mother had apparently been watching.

Her mother came over to me and asked if there was anything that she could do right then. I told her that she had already done something, giving birth to a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent young lady who had just become a new person in Christ, clean clear through! The mother and daughter hugged. I blessed them both and their relationship with each other, and left.

6/3/02

26. I started to pray with a woman, about 40, and a man. They wanted their pending wedding blessed. When I asked about a date, they said that none was set. So I took the woman aside first, to learn what was going on and what was interfering with setting a date. She said that there were problems with each other's families. Each had been married before. His children did not like her and her parents and other family members didn't like him. She was biting her nails as she was talking with me. She said that she was in conflict about marrying him.

I told her that nail-biting was destructive, and that I believed that her body was telling her that was she was doing was destructive. She started talking about her 2 year old child that she had by this man. She was living with him!

I told that I knew that this was very difficult for her and for me. I told her that I could not lie to her and say that living with a man was ok. I told her that I did not believe that God could bless a marriage born in sin. She was sobbing and agreeing. I think that this was the underlying conflict over which she was biting her nails.

I told her that it was her decision, but that if she moved out, confessed and repented and did not have sexual union with him until after marriage, I believed that God could bless her marriage. She was still sobbing and biting her nails and shaking her head, agreeing with me.

I had to leave on the bus, so I suggested that she go to a pastor who she trusted and confess, repent, and ask forgiveness, if she decided to move out with her child. She said that she would, smiled, stopped biting her nails, and said thank you, with a big smile! The truth will set us free!! Thank you Jesus!

6/3/02

27. Becky and I prayed with a woman who was a missionary. She has been in mission for the last 7-8 years, where she started a missionary outpost. She is and divorced, with children. She said that she has been praying with others for inner healing for many years. She herself has been prayed for inner healing, most recently just 6 months ago.

Her husband divorced her after 24 years of marriage. The most recent mission that she organized, people there had turned on her and "arranged" her departure from the mission. She had sold all possessions to go on the mission. Now, she has no place to return to. Her money will be stopped in July.

She said that she was molested by her grandfather from the age of about 6 to 12. As she got older, he had her and her younger sister to dance in a provocative manner in front of him and he paid her money for it. Apparently there was no sexual intercourse with the grandfather. But he did manipulate her sexually, both above and below the waist, until she got excited. Her mother kept sending her back every summer to stay with him over her objections. Finally, at age 12, she just refused to go. Her father was in the service and was an alcoholic. He was gone most of the time. Her mother worked and didn't have time to be the mother she needed and deserved.

I told her that I was getting a word of rebellion. Not from pride, but from the need to rebel against the authority that was no providing her the support and protection that she needed and deserved. Her mother and father had not, her husband had not, and now, the mission that she had started was not protecting her. So, she was rejected and abandoned her whole life, having to rebel against every authority, to care for herself.

I came against the spirits of rejection, abandonment, victimization, fear, anger, rage, immorality, lust, sexuality, perversion, and a few others. She immediately bent over and started a wail. I rose in pitch and volume, continuing for several minutes. After it was over, she said that she felt much better, maybe 90%. But still had a little knot in her stomach.

Becky and I started telling her how she was loved by God, that God would never abandon her or abuse her, that God saw her as his "little girl" and wanted her with him always.

Then I commanded the spirits out of her female organs. She started wailing again. However this time it was only for about 1-2 minutes.

Then she stopped, straightened up, tossed up a roll of toilet paper we were using for her tears, and said "I'm free"! She had a great smile on her face, and she was very "bouncy." Thank you Jesus!!

28. My wife and I have been so blessed by the wonderful work of God in Belo Horizonte. It seemed just like the Book of Acts, chapter two. I kept expecting to see Peter or Paul there praying for persons too!! If you ever get a chance to go on a ministry trip with Randy, or someone like him, JUMP at the chance! It will not only bless you and provide for the healing of others. It will also increase your faith!!! We all need more of God!!!
